Participation at Arctic Frontiers
The Centre for the Ocean and the Arctic takes part in Arctic Frontiers every year in Tromsø, where the Centre is also based. The conference brings together actors from research, politics, industry and civil society, and serves as an important meeting place for discussing issues related to the ocean and the Arctic.
As a cross-disciplinary and cross-sector knowledge centre, we use the conference to showcase ongoing work and contribute to discussions that require broad academic and professional perspectives. Participation enables us to connect with partners, share knowledge and keep abreast of developments in key ocean and Arctic issues.
Arctic Frontiers therefore represents a natural arena for the Centre—both because the conference takes place in our home city and because it provides space for new perspectives, collaboration and the exchange of experience across sectors and disciplines.Meet us in 2026
